Yes — Daylight is free. No paid tiers, no usage limits. If AI costs grow down the line, we'll figure it out together — but you'll never be locked out.
We store meeting metadata (title, date, attendees) and the tasks you create. Meeting summaries are only accessed on-demand when you view a meeting or extract tasks — they are not stored. We never access or store your meeting transcripts.
Yes — your API key is encrypted, never stored on our servers, and only accessible to you. See our security page for the full details.
Yes. Go to Settings and use the "Delete account" option. This permanently removes all your tasks, cached meetings, and API keys. Nothing is retained.
Yes — the Granola API key is currently only available to users on a paid Granola plan. You'll need one to connect Daylight to your meetings.
No. Daylight is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Granola in any way. It's just a simple tool built by someone who lives from meeting to meeting.
